The Magic Of Bullock Castle

As soon as you enter and are surrounded by the stones of the year 1150  you become magically empowered by  this amazing Castle.

The name for Bullock Castle comes from The Scandinavian name for " Blue Haven ", and the Gaelic word for the tidal blow hole from the Irish Sea which helped protect the castle. Gaelic is the ancient language of Ireland. It is used today throughout the Island republic of Ireland. You see it along with English on signs everywhere.

Bullock Castle is located just a few miles from downtown Dublin in the town of Dun Laoghaire (pronounced Dun Leery).

Under Bullock Castle lie granit slabs from the year 900. Strange pagan markings on them have been converted to Christian burial markers and still exist in cemetaries near the Castle. Smugglers, bandits, and soldiers of Irish Kings all used The Castle at one time or another over the centuries. You can use your own imagination to create the stories they might have to tell. As you walk the halls of the Castle you can hear the echoes of laughter, moans and screams of centuries past.
